Guest Policy
  • Anyone not listed in the Green Harbour Beach Club records as a Club member (a “Member”) will be considered a guest.
  • Guests will not be permitted entry to the club unless accompanied by a club member; provided, grandparents, babysitters and nannies who are accompanied by a Member’s child (with respect to nannies and babysitters, children under the age of 14 only) and actively engaged in looking after such child on the Member’s behalf, may enter the Club upon checking in with the Club Manager or entry attendant.  All other guests must wait for the Member to arrive before entering the Club with the guest for the duration of the guest’s stay.
  • Upon entry, the Member must register the guest with the Club Manager or entry attendant.
  • Guest fees are $10.00 per adult and $5.00 for children under age 18, per day. Members must use either a prepaid guest pass (available on the Club website) or credit card to pay the applicable guest fees upon registration. Children under 5 are Free.  The Member is responsible for all fees attributable to their guests.  If the Club determines that guest fees have not been paid as required, the unpaid fees may be billed directly to the Member.  There are no refunds on guest fees.
  • Individual guests are limited to three (3) visits per calendar year, in the aggregate.  For avoidance of doubt, the visitation limitation applies specifically to each guest, such that no individual guest shall be permitted to visit the Club more than three (3) times in any calendar year regardless of whether multiple Members have invited the guest to the Club.
  • Grandparents, babysitters and nannies who have been registered with the Club as such are not considered members, but rather complimentary guests. They must be registered with the Club as a grandparent, babysitter or nanny prior to their first entry into the Club, and are to be signed in by the Club Manager or entry attendant at the entry gate.  “Grandparents” are defined as the biological or legally adoptive mother or father (or current legal spouse thereof) of the adult (heads of household) Member(s).  “Babysitters and nannies” are defined as actual, bona fide employees of a Member employed to look after a child of a Member for compensation.  No more than one (1) babysitter or nanny of a Member is permitted at the Club on any given day.  The Club and GHBC Board reserve the right to confirm the identity and eligibility of any grandparent, nanny or babysitter, which may include proof of employment, copies of driver’s licenses and other supporting documentation.
  • Members may not host more than 8 guests in one day (including complimentary guests; grandparents, babysitter or nanny). Any member wishing to bring a group of more than eight (8) guests in one day must obtain prior approval of the GHBC Board.
  • All members should limit guests on weekends and holidays to avoid placing undue burden on the Club during the peak times.
  • The Club and GHBC Board reserve the right to limit guest entry during specific events, parties or celebrations.  Any limitations will be specified on the invitation or event description.
  • The parking lot is reserved for Members only. Guests must park their vehicles on the street.  All Members must place a GHBC issued parking sticker on the rear bumper or rear window of any vehicle that will be parked in the parking lot.  The Club and GHBC Board reserve the right to remove any vehicle from the parking lot that does not contain a current GHBC issued parking sticker, at the owner’s expense.  No vehicles shall be left in the parking lot overnight.  The owner of each vehicle bares the risk of loss, and the Club does not undertake and herby disclaims any responsibility to provide for the safety or security of any property left within the Club boundaries.
  • No bicycles, tricycles, scooters, skateboards or other modes of personal transportation shall be parked or left within the interior gates of the Club or in the parking lot, excluding legally registered scooters and motorcycles which may be parked in the parking area with a GHBC issued parking sticker.  All such transportation devices must be parked outside of the interior gates and in the elevated paved area adjacent to the pump house or in any other area designated therefor.  No bicycles, tricycles, scooters, skateboards or other such personal transportation devices shall be left at the Club overnight.  Any personal transportation device left at the Club overnight without prior approval shall be deemed abandoned and the Club reserves the right to cut any lock and to dispose of such property in any manner determined by the GHBC Board, without liability or recourse. The owner of each personal transportation device bares the risk of loss, and the Club does not undertake and hereby disclaims any responsibility to provide for the safety or security of any property left within the Club boundaries.
  • All Members and their guests must conduct themselves in a courteous and appropriate manner consistent with and otherwise under generally accepted rules of courtesy and consideration in all areas of the Club.
  • Members are responsible for the conduct of their children and their guests at all times.
  • The Club and GHBC Board reserve the right to restrict entry and/or Club privileges to any Member or guest who fails to observe these rules and regulations. Any guest or Member found by the GHBC Board to be in violation of the Club rules and regulations (including this Guest Policy) may be subject to disciplinary action, including without limitation, removal from the Club, suspension and/or revocation of membership, at the discretion of the GHBC Board in accordance with the By-Laws.
